New York City is home to the most famous baseball team and baseball hat in the world - The Yankees. But it’s not the only team that calls NYC its home. We wanted to show that a New York Mets hat isn’t just a fashion symbol–it’s a badge of honor.
The Saturday before opening day of the season, The Mets (known as the Amazin’ Mets) turned the Mets hat into a key that unlocked NYC. A citywide takeover that encouraged fans—both old and new—to wear a Mets hat to experience some of the most amazing and iconic institutions of NYC.
